About the Piper J3C-65 Cub

This Piper J3 Cub has trained more tail wheel pilots than any other aircraft.  When it was first introduced, a brand new J3 sold for about $1,300. Today, a fully restored “to new condition” J3 would cost in excess of $50,000.  Our Piper Cub was restored to its present condition by our teenage volunteers in 2017. It is flown regularly by those same young volunteers.

The aircraft was donated to PTAM in 2003 by Carol Russo.
