About the Taylorcraft Model B
Although the Model A was a great success in the 1930’s with its 40 hp engine, the later 65hp Model B version was sold as fast as they were made. Several hundred of these fine airplanes were manufactured, and the basic design continued into WWII as the Taylorcraft L-2, which was part of the military’s “Grass Hopper Fleet”.
