About the Fairchild 24W-40
Restored by Chris Smith and Bob McKinney in 1984 over a period of 12
years. It was acquired by PTAM in 2016. This aircraft was fitted with floats and used extensively during WWII as a coastal patrol aircraft after December 7, 1941.
