About the Cessna 140

The Cessna 120/140 Models were forerunners to today’s modern all metal Cessna airplanes. They were produced from 1946 through 1950, resulting in a production run for the two models totaling 7,664 airplanes. The “140” is as popular today with the flying public as it was in 1946 when it first debuted. As a result of their popularity, they hold their value better then most in the general aviation light plane market. This example was restored by PTAM staff during the first half of 2008. It is flown regularly as an advanced trainer by our young pilots.
